Everyone loves butterflies and I am no exception. Butterflies are the start of my daily rituals as I enjoy my morning coffee in the garden. I love to see what butterflies are visiting, what flowers they are enjoying and even watch them lay their eggs. Then I get the honor of watching them hatch, grow, turn to chrysalis and if I am up early enough, I may get to see a butterfly stretch out their wings for the first time. Their evolution from egg to butterfly is nothing short of magical. I hope whoever wears this fluorite and amethyst pendant can feel the magic of fresh starts and butterflies.
This copper wrapped pendant is almost 3 1/2 inches long and 1 1/2 inches wide. The Fluorite butterfly stone is about 2 3/4 inches tall. The amethyst is a tear shape and about 1/2 an inch.
This is natural copper; I did antique and polish it. Copper will naturally tarnish over time. While you are not wearing your pendant, keeping it in a plastic bag may help to slow the tarnishing process. I simply use a polishing cloth to freshen up my copper and silver jewelry before I wear it.
Here is some information about Fluorite from the book, Love is in the Earth: A Kaleidoscope of Crystals by Melody
"This mineral produces an energy which is predisposed to discourage chaotic, disruptive and disorganized growth. It emits an energy which can be used to stabilize and to produce order within the mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual systems. It can be used to bring order to chaos.
It has been known as a "stone of discernment and aptitude", bringing the energies of responsibility to the qualities of systematic intuition. It represents the height of mental achievement, facilitating a limitless range of avenues for exploration."
Amethyst is known to be a protective and calming stone.
